Oil Painting Workshop with Emily Fox King

NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! This is class is for anyone: wimps, painting maestros, beginners, people intimidated by oil paint, everyone! I will hand-hold, cheer, guide and lead you through my process as you create your own 8 x 10 inch floral masterpiece on wood panel. All materials provided. Wear paint clothes/ apron.

Materials Provided:

- High-quality oil paint

- Brushes and palettes

- 8x10 inch wood panel

What to Bring:

- Wear old clothes or an apron (oil paint can be tricky to remove)

Valentine's Day Cards Printmaking Workshop with Evi

Give your loved ones a handmade valentines day card! In this class you will learn the art of relief printmaking to make a linocut stamp.

Using this stamp you will print cards in class and you can reuse this stamp to make many more cards and prints from home!

During this workshop, you will receive step-by-step guidance on how to cut the perfect design for printing. The versatile art of lino printing can be utilized to produce stunning pieces of art, intricate patterns, personalized stamps, and more.

No experience needed and tools will be supplied to make 3 cards. You can continue to print more cards from home.

Tickets are non-refundable. Age 16+ only.

In preparation, please bring a linocut design as inspiration for your piece. Have it printed to 4"x6" black and white. We will trace this image onto the rubber and carve it out. You can also free hand it directly on the rubber. Up to you!

About the Instructor:


Evi is an artist and designer based out of Lake Tahoe and Salt Lake City. She has been making art since she was in 6th grade and studied product design in university. The wildlife, flowers, and stunning peaks of the mountains are a constant source of inspiration for Evi. She channels this into her ceramics, prints, and botanical candles. In 2022, Evi created Evi Studio, selling her work across western US as well as offering workshops. She loves to teach and help others pick up tools that unleash their creativity.
